Inoculants 

Inoculants can be added into the pouring ladle or directly into the stream when pouring a mold. These material reduce carbides and imporove machinability. They are extremely powerful promoting high nodule counts or refined graphite flake network and therefore are highly suitable to medium and thin section ductile or gray iron castings.
